Seriously!!!! the question “How come you speak such good english?” …. SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!! I’m sick of it!

Didn’t know speaking good English was still a crime. I’ve got from around here who speak better Swahili than most Kenyans I know around the way.
Some folks see language as a personal, exclusive “just-me-only” thing forgeting that it’s a skill like any other & gets better/perfected with interest & practice.

I so feel you! It’s like people expect you to be speaking in clicks or something.
“Probably because i went to school?” Should be the appropriate answer.
I fail to fathom why folks still ask that question!! I get asked questions like “So how come you are so articulate?” Aaaargh indeed!!
wait till a potential employer asks you what language you speak in kenya … then that really f***s your day up!!!!
